The kite spot in Diani Beach.
Kite spot in Diani Beach depends on the tide, is very safe with the side on wind. KiteMotion has two locations, both located are right on the beach front, our 2 kite spots have perfect flat – choppy water (depends on a tide). We recommend to take reef shoes, especially if you gonna kitesurf during low tides and for those of you who still are in need to step on the bottom of the ocean (you can also rent the shoes at our school). If you prefer to kitesurf on waves, you can catch some surf behind the reef. The waves average 1m- 2m and break only 1000m from the shore. Kenya is also perfect for kite foiling (hydrofoil) when the tide is up.
