Kitesurfing equipment rentals in Diani Beach. Apart from kitesurfing lessons our kite schools also offer equipment rentals for independent riders.
Our kite center offers the latest kiteboarding gear of FONE, Vantage, Crazy Fly, Airush kites, variety of twin-tip and surfboards and Mystic/Prolimit accessories for different sizes and needs. Both of our schools are located just next to the kite spot and additional kites are available at the beach. If the wind changes you can change your kite / board during your session.
You can rent the complete equipment or just the board, the kite or any combination you need.
Kites and boards are rented on a customer’s name and all costs caused by negligence will be charged to the customer’s account. At the time of registration, we kindly ask you to present a valid form of identification (driving license, passport or any other ID).
If you need assistance while acclimating to the new location and its conditions, we provide supervised rentals for a small additional fee of 10€ added to the rental.
* Full equipment rental includes Rescue Boat Service. We are the only kite school in Diani Beach which works with a professional rescue boat to cover your safety on the water. Full equipment rental comes with beach assistance through our competent beach crew and include: setting up the kite, launching and landing help, rescue boat service and cleaning & packing of the gear.
*Partial equipment rentals doesn’t include the charges for the spot access and rescue boat services.
We rent kitesurfing equipment only to confident riders. You need to hold an IKO certificate or demonstrate your independent level. If you do not possess IKO certificate, we can assess your skills through a one-hour teaching session and afterwards issue the license. This system has been designed to guarantee the safety of our clients and to ensure the proper usage of KiteMotion equipment.
What does the independent level involve?
Independent kitesurfer is a person who is able to safely launch and land the kite on the beach, enter and exit the water with the kite in the air, ride confidently to both directions, stay up-wind, recover your board and relaunch the kite in deep water, know and respect the right of way rules and perform a self-rescue.
