IKO Instructor Course in 3 steps

Assistant Instructor Training Course (AITC)

698$ / person

Before joining the ITC, you must complete the Assistant Instructor Course (AITC) – another official IKO program. This course deepens your understanding of kiteboarding, covering safety, rescue, meteorology, tides, equipment care, right of way rules, international signals, and more.

Already completed the AITC at another IKO center? Just bring your IKO ID number.
Need the course? You can complete it with us just a few days before the ITC.

Daily schedule: From 10:00 AM (approx. 8 hours per day) Provided Materials: AITC Assistant Instructor Manual (digital or printed)

Location: Diani Beach, Kenya

Duration: 5 days

Medic First Aid Course (First Aid Certification)

A valid first aid certification is required to join the ITC

If you already have one (issued within the last 2 years), bring your certificate with you.
If not, we offer a one day Medic First Aid Course at our school, the day before the ITC begins.

Duration: Approx. 6 hours
Schedule: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

ITC – Instructor Training Course

The IKO Instructor Training Course (ITC) is a professional-level course designed to prepare you for work as a certified kitesurfing instructor. This is the final step in your journey to becoming an IKO Level 1 Instructor.

Location: KiteMotion School, Diani Beach, Kenya
Duration: 5 full days (with a possible extra day if the wind conditions require it)
Daily schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Included Materials: IKO Instructor Manual (digital or printed – English version)

After the Course:
